雨降りお月さん 雲の蔭
It's raining. Moon has a halo.
お嫁にゆくときゃ 誰とゆく
On the way of wedding,who are you going with?
ひとりで傘（からかさ） さしてゆく
I will go alone with an umbrella.
傘ないときゃ 誰とゆく
If you have no umbrella, who will be you going with?

鈴つけたお馬にゆられて 濡れてゆく
By the decorated housee with bells, I will go getting wet.

I with to catch a glimpse through the driving rein
お袖でお顔を 隠してる
You hide the face under the sleeve.
お袖は濡れても 干しゃ乾く
The wetting sleeves will dry by hunging
雨降りお月さん 雲の蔭
It's raining. Moon has a halo.
お馬にゆられて 濡れてゆく
You go getting wet by the house.

In Japan, we call the halo Kasa, カサ＝暈
The halo looks like that moon uses an umbrella( Kasa＝傘 ）
